I was fortunate to have been one of John's guitar students in the late 1970s and early 80s. I've always carried a warm place in my heart for John since then. I can still play one of the tunes he taught me. I was just listening to his CD The Perfect Crime and wondered what he was up to. I just learned that he passed. I'm broken hearted. But I look forward to that great day when I will see him again and there will be no more goodbyes. Until we meet at Jesus' feet, my friend.

I had the great good luck to have "Mr. B" as my 5th grade teacher. His class was one of my fondest childhood memories. He encouraged our creativity, shared his love of music, and was an incredible role model.
