John Stephen Erekson's Obituary
Stephen was born July 25, 1966, in Provo, Utah, to Alma J. Erekson and Michelle M. Grane. He passed away on August 19, 2023. He grew up very happy in Draper and Granger, Utah. Stephen met Lisa White at Granger High School and married her five years later after they both served missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Together, they shared a full life with seven wonderful children. They were blessed with Christina (Christopher Bowler), Amberlea, Sara (Mallery Marsh), John, Laura, William (Taylor Morris), and Joseph by the Lord. Stephen also rejoiced in having five adventurous grandsons. George, Arthur, Reginald, Edmond, and Peter are loved and exuberant.
Stephen’s love, Lisa, and his family are his life. Jesus Christ, His Church, and the Gospel were his family’s foundation. He accomplished other things in the world, but it was only to support his family, who he loves.
He is buried in the Meadow View Cemetery in Eden, Utah.
