John Howard Herrmann's Obituary
John Howard Herrmann July 27, 1967 – March 3, 2021. John died peacefully in the comfort of his home at the age of 53. He was preceded in death by his beloved father Howard Peter Herrmann. Beloved and cherished son of Barbara (nee Smith) Herrmann and much-loved brother of James Matthew (Leslie) Herrmann and Nancy Anne Herrmann Benton. He embraced his role as the fun-loving, bigger than life uncle to Tyler and Mark Benton, and Cole (Tessa), Jake (Kylie) and Luke (Kayley) Herrmann. John graduated from Arrowhead High School and University of Michigan, where he was an accomplished member of the football teams. John loved the outdoors and adventure and was an avid skier, mountain biker, hiker, booklover, and lover of dogs. He loved Hawaiian shirts, flipflops, Bob Marley and Jimmy Buffet and was always up for a party or social gathering. A private service and inurnment will take place for immediate family at a later date.
