John (JC) Edward Caouette's Obituary
John (JC) Edward Caouette passed away peacefully at home on the evening of March 21st, 2022. John was born June 2nd, 1949, to Omer and Liala Kainu Caouette in Nipigon Ontario.
While spending the first part of his life in Canada, where he served in the Navy and had his first two sons, Keith & Tyler, he found himself settling in the US with his loving wife and soulmate Tamera Oldroyd who he married on January 31st 1986. Here he would have his beautiful daughter Cara and youngest son Dylan. Although his true pride and joy were his grandson’s Jc and Maddox.
John was a lifetime truck driver which he loved. Working hard and providing for his family made him proud. He also loved hocky, especially his Montreal Canadiens, and fishing (even though it took him nearly 30 years to catch a fish in Utah.) One of his most impressive traits was his ability to strike up a conversation and befriend anyone. Because of this it seemed no matter where we went there was someone he knew or stop we’d have to make to see an old friend. John’s personality made him someone that will leave a lasting impression on anyone that knew him.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Utah Cancer Specialist for their love and support for Dad for the last 13 years.
John leaves behind his wife Tamera, his children Keith Caouette, Tyler Caouette, Cara (Josh) Uden, Dylan (Fay) Caouette, his grandsons Jc and Maddox and his siblings MaryJane, Sharon, Heather, and Sandra. Those that proceeded him in death are both of his parents and his siblings Valerie, Shelby, Marc, and Kenny.
There will be a Celebration of Life luncheon on April 2nd, 2022, at the Jordan Event Center 9112 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan from 11am-1pm. Please feel free to dress casually for commemoration.
