John was a lover of many things Including Hunting, Fishing, Camping and being in Nature as a whole. Yet There was nothing he loved more than his family, he was always the man to sacrifice the things he wanted for the things his family wanted or needed. John was the true embodiment of the phrase " He would give you the shirt off his back".
While we lost our most beloved dad, many have lost a friend and loved one in him. He has been a rock to many, a master at sarcastic humor John had the biggest heart because no matter what happened between you in your lives, once you were marked as important to him, he'd be by your side if you needed him. There was so much more to him than just dad, though to us that was his greatest roll - he was also a loving Husband, an amazing friend, a coworker and colleague, brother, stand-in paternal figure to anyone that needed it.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up in his name @ Fundraiser by Yvonne Roybal-Latham : Honoring John Paul Latham's Legacy (gofundme.com)
