John Earl Nicholes' Obituary
John Earl Nicholes passed away Thursday, February 5th at his parents residence in Taylorsville Utah.
John was born February 15th 1968, in Minneapolis Minnesota and was adopted into a growing family of nine brothers and sister. He moved with his family to Burley, Idaho where he attended elementary school. He later attended Lakeridge Jr. High School in Orem, Utah and high school in Page, Arizona.
John loved the outdoors and worked for several years for the City of St. George Golf Courses. When he wasn’t collecting golf balls and playing golf he was riding his mountain bike thru the red desert hills of Southern Utah. He loved figuring out how things work and often built makeshift electronics. His nieces and nephews could always count on John to be ready to go to the playground with his remote control helicopters which he loved.
In the later years of his life his young body finally succumbed to his physical ailments.
He is survived by his loving parents, Dr. Karl Ray Kelly and Velyn Nicholes, his siblings Joesph (Vicki) Nicholes(deceased), Barbara (Nicholes)Larson, Thomas (Renee) Nicholes, Kirsten (Matthew)Bastian, Diana (Eeric)White, Olivia(Michael)Cheeney, Leticia (Donald) Crouch and Matthew (Janet)Nicholes and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by an elder brother and two nieces.
Memorial Services will held at the Taylorsville 14th Ward Chapel at 1250 W 4375 S Taylorsville Utah 84123 on Wednesday, February 11th at noon. Family and friends are encouraged to attend. Graveside services will be performed at a later date.
