Jolene Packard's Obituary
Jolene Packard was born on February 9, 1956 to Donald and Mercedes Davis in Orem, Utah. She passed away peacefully on November 21, 2021 surrounded by her loving husband and children. In June of 1974 best friend of John, Jeff Stout introduced Jolene and John they both are forever grateful. Jolene was sealed to her eternal partner John Packard on August 18, 1976 in the Salt Lake Temple. They went on to have three incredible children, who brought her happiness and joy to nurture and raise.
Jolene was the matriarch of her wonderful family, leading them with her warm, joyful, giving personality. Jolene was a caretaker and friend to all she came into contact with, whether it be the regulars at Dan’s, to strangers that would walk their dogs down the street. She always had a smile or treat for everyone. She was the epitome of service, she was always giving her time and attention to anyone and everyone, being humble and never wanting any recognition for it. Jolene is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings for the church, but one of her most cherished ones was being a primary teacher. She loved children and had an amazing way to connect with them. She was always going above and beyond with teaching them the gospel in a way they would never forget.
Jolene is survived by her beloved husband John Packard. Children: Colin (Kami), Kyle, Kayla (JJ). Grandchildren: Corbin, Cael, Kaycee, Kori and True and Tygen. Brothers: Glen (Cindy), Paul (Kallie), Joe (Linda). Sisters: Robyn (Roy), Rolane, Kathy, Julie (Mike). Along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and twin brother little Joe. Jolene’s sweet spirit and love to serve others will be missed by all and as a family we hope that we will remember to love all and she did in her name. The Packard family will be forever grateful for the prayers and service offered on our by our friends, family and ward family.
