JoLynn Burton Evans' Obituary
JoLynn Burton Evans, 71, passed away in her home on April 19, 2026.
Born on January 13th, 1955 in Salt Lake City to Jack and Melba Burton. She graduated from Skyline High and enrolled at the University of Utah. She met the love of her life, Roger, and they were married on March 22, 1976. Together, they had four children and ten grandchildren.
JoLynn loved being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren by taking them to bounce houses, arcades and trampoline parks. Of course, it wouldn’t be a fun day without a treat at the ice cream shop or a trip to the candy store.
JoLynn spent many years making handmade gifts for family, neighbors and coworkers for Roger. She enjoyed cross stitching, making blankets and sewing items for others.
JoLynn returned “home” to be with her husband, Roger. JoLynn is survived by her two sisters, Janice and Judy, son Ryan (Erica), Lyndsi, Taylor (Jenn), Scott (Megan) and her ten grandchildren.
