Jordan Lee Holladay's Obituary
Jordan Lee Holladay, 21, died unexpectedly Sunday June 10, 2012 in Killeen, Texas. Jordan was born July 7, 1990 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Mark Lee and Stephanie Thurston Holladay. He grew up in Hillsboro, Vernonia and Portland, graduating from Sunset High School in 2008. Jordan participated in church youth programs, band, tennis, football and Boy Scouts. In 2007 he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He recently attended college at CNMCC and enlisted in the Army January 2011. He was serving as a helicopter repair technician at Fort Hood at the time of his death. Jordan is survived by his parents Mark and Stephanie Holladay of Portland; his brother James and sister Amanda; grandmother Gennie Holladay of Lehi, Utah; grandfather Howie Thurston of Stratham, New Hampshire; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Burial will be in Lehi, Utah. Memorial service to be held Saturday, June 23 at 12:00 at the LDS Church 14885 NW West Union Rd., Portland, OR.
Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 2:30 PM of the LDS Church 1900 North 1020 East, Lehi, UT viewing will be at 1:00 PM at the same location. Burial with military honors will be at the Lehi Cemetery following the services.
