Jordan Jay Howard's Obituary
Jordan Jay Howard, known affectionately as "JHow," passed away on September 17, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 28.
Born on January 20, 1996, in Rapid City, South Dakota, Jordan brought joy and kindness into the lives of those around him.
Jordan graduated from Granite Peaks High School and recently discovered his passion for construction work. He was excited about earning certifications to advance his career in this field. Often talking about starting his own construction company.
Beyond his professional life, Jordan was an avid basketball player and pool shooter, enjoying countless hours with his cousins, friends, his girlfriend Bree and her dog Rocky. Jordan also enjoyed playing video games. Described by those who knew him as a joyful person who loved deeply, Jordan was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying a spirit of generosity. Despite his personal struggles, his innate desire to help others shine bright, making him a beloved figure in his community. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Jordan is survived by his mother, Amber Valdez; stepfather, Ross Valdez; brother, Dylan Howard; grandparents, Debby & Neal Howard, and Tom & Peggy Doud. He was preceded in death by his father, Tracy Howard, and great-grandparents, Jay & Muriel Dumas.
A viewing and service to honor Jordan's life will be held at Premier Funeral Services in Midvale, Utah, on Friday, September 27th. The viewing will take place from 10 to 11 AM, followed by a short service.
