He was a man of strong opinions. That was one of the things that endeared him to me. He would periodically "preach" about how to "play the game" in the United States. Those aren't his words, but his sentiment was that in the United States you get ahead by doing things the way other Americans do. If you want to continue to use the skills you learned in another country, without "Americanizing" them, you won't do as well. He loved to learn. He was a real "take charge" kind of guy. He was a "driver". I really enjoyed working with him when he served in the Bishopric and later at the Utah Food Bank food drops - when that was one of his High Council callings. Because of his energy, he'll really be missed this side of the veil, but he'll be a real asset to the Savior's work in the Spirit World. I'm sure he's already asked his angelic leaders, "Where do you want me to go to work?"
