Bishop Garrett was always one of my favorite people. He was the first bishop I remember. Whenever I saw him over the past 60 years, he always called me by my first name. I was impressed that he could still do the temple parts without mistakes even in his nineties! I will miss seeing this exemplary and wonderful man. Ray and his brother in law Homer are super heros. When we set out to expand our little home to fit our growing family both Homer and Ray volunteered to take on the electrical work. They spent a couple hundred hours pulling wire, installing lights, plugs, and switches. Ray has always been a positive force for good, his passing is our loss and heaven's gain. I love Ray.
