Joseph Dale Thomas' Obituary
Joseph Dale “Joey” Thomas, beloved father, brother, son, and friend, passed away November 13, 2013 in Clearfield, Utah from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Carlton, Georgia, August 22, 1990.
He is survived by his daughter, AnnaLee; former wife, Anna; parents, Dale and Debbie; four brothers, Joshua, Aaron, Ammon, and Benjamin; four sisters, Jennifer, Christine, Heather, and Eliza; paternal grandparents, Buck and Shanna Thomas; maternal grandparents, Emma Ray and Glen Cox; five aunts, five uncles, numerous cousins; and a nephew, Christopher. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Tim Cox.
Joey was a hard working man, who was employed at Fresenius Medical and formerly at ShopKo. He also was a student at Weber State University, studying business and finance. In his free time, Joey liked playing basketball, traveling, and four wheeling, especially in the company of his friends and family, who all held him in high regards. He was a dedicated family man and always gave assistance when the need arose. His kind and generous nature continued after his passing; donating his organs. He was the bright spot in any one's day, and will be missed.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to all individuals who rendered assistance at the accident scene, especially the emergency and law personnel. Thank you.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Clearfield 8th Ward LDS Chapel, 838 East 600 South, Clearfield, Utah. The viewing will begin at 11:30 am prior to services.
Internment will be in the Roy Cemetery.
