I met Josh about 10 months ago while he was doing some landscaping in our backyard neighbor's yard. While my husband and I were visiting one morning with him discussing how the landscaping would affect our yard, my husband collapsed and Josh immediately started CPR on my husband. He was so quick to help him and while my husband did not end up surviving, I will be forever indebted to him for following a prompting to come to Centerville that morning. My children and I spoke to him later that day to make sure he was ok because the whole thing was pretty intense, and he shared with us that he felt impressed to come to Centerville that day. I just wanted you as a family to know that he made a huge difference in a very hard day for us, y and he will forever be in our hearts. So sorry you are suffering his loss and may you feel him watching over all of you, as I have experienced with the passing of my husband.

Josh was our neighbor after moving in right after we did in 2020. He was always so kind with a big smile. We both were talking about him, a few days before he passed, saying that he seemed to be much happier and that his life was starting to fall into place for him. We saw him the day before he passed and he was hugging a friend with the biggest smile we've ever seen on him, he looked so at ease and happy. He was happy that Sophia was going to be living with him and they just got a new puppy. He would tease us about how great our yard looked and about how our cars were always clean, saying that we were putting him and the block to shame, although he was always detailing and cleaning his vehicles too. :) We miss seeing him every morning and waving as he would be outside or driving off to work. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Take care and know that Josh was a daily reminder of kindness.

My favorite Josh pic!! Dunes trip, ended the night with the Can-Am belt breaking, turned it into a necklace! 😂🤪 Always with the good vibes, laughs for days, shenanigans and fun mems. We love you, and miss you so much Josh! Life will truly never be the same without you! 🤍🫶🏻
