Judith Arlene Parisi's Obituary
On October 2, 2018, Judith Parisi, loving mother of 3 daughters, passed away at the age of 70.
Judy was born in Fresno, California and attended Fresno Union Academy and Walla Walla College. She was a real estate agent for several years, but found her true calling in the classroom. She taught elementary grades in both the North Sacramento School District and the Elk Grove Unified School District. After several years teaching 3rd and 4th grades , she settled in to her favorite - 1st grade! She said you couldn't have a bad day in first grade! She was also a foster parent, and fostered around 15 kids through the years.
Judy is survived by her three daughters and two sons-in-laws, Brenda and Ken Watson, Lynnette and Curtis Stansfield, and Mary Parisi, her two sisters, Valorie Lambert and Tina Jones along with 4 precious grandchildren,. She is also survived by her mother Mabel Crouch.
Judy had a passion for education, and volunteering. She loved quilting, and sewing dresses for an orphanage in Haiti and making boxes for Operation Christmas Child. She loved to travel and go on cruises. She was blessed with an abundance of dear friends who will miss her terribly. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed nothing more than spending time surrounded by them.
A Celebration of Judy's life will be Saturday afternoon, October 6, 2018, at the Wasatch Hills Adventist Church (2139 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84109) at 3:00 PM. Those wanting to honor her memory by making a donation, two things close to her heart were worthy student funds at your local Adventist Church school or Operation Christmas Child.
