Judy Lynn Gilmore Hanson's Obituary
On January 22, 2021 we lost our dear friend, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and loving mother. Judy Lynn Gilmore Hanson was born May 13, 1951 to Roscoe and Rae Lynn Gilmore. During her life she was a friend to all. Her home was always open to anyone needing a meal, a laugh, shelter, conversation, or comforting. Although she had many trials of her own, her kind heart helped numerous people who were seeking advice and hope during their trials. Her laugh was contagious and her humor addicting. Judy loved sports of all kind. She could often be found attending one of her son’s games or watching a JAZZ game. She was a huge college basketball fan and rarely left her house during the NCAA March Madness. She leaves behind four of her five sons, the pride and joy of her life, Lance (Marni) Schaub, Paul Hanson, Ryan (Karen) Hanson, and Todd Hanson, and a daughter in law, Jennifer (Mike) Dickson. She also leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and more broken hearts than we can count. She was preceded in death by her son Gregg Schaub, her loving and devoted husband Terry Hanson, and brother-in-law Steve Hanson. Although we are grateful, she is free from her pain, she will be missed by all.
