Julia Mae Rowley Yates' Obituary
Julia Mae Rowley Yates, born November 29th, 1938, returned home to her Heavenly Father on August 2, 2023. She passed peacefully with her beloved companion of 60 years by her side, Brian.
She will be missed by many. Her love for babies and animals was always evident. Both her and Brian enjoyed motorcycling, golf, traveling in their motorhome, and bowling. She excelled at sports, winning many trophies and awards. She also enjoyed creating many different types of beautiful crafts.
Although she had no formal college education in her field, she excelled in the workplace, becoming an electrical designer and trainer for Hercules.
Julia is survived by her loving husband, Brian and her children, Everett (Tami), and Vicky. As well as her siblings; LaRue, Fred, Vickie (Jack): Sister-in-Laws; Carol, Glenys, and Pamela (Hidio) ; Grandchildren; Brian (Jen), William (Charlie), Carl, and numerous other grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Brian Jr.; parents, June and Edwin; Brother, Leslie; Brother-in-Law, Dave; and Sister-in-Laws, Gene & Valerie.
A gathering for the family and friends will be held on Monday August 7th, 2023 from 4-6 pm. Located at 2850 West 3835 South, West Valley City, Utah, 84119.
