Julia Ellen McClure's Obituary
Julia Ellen DeVylder McClure, age 67, left us Friday morning, December 3, 2010 after a short battle with cancer. She was born October 11, 1943 in Roseburg, Oregon. She leaves behind her 4 children, Rob, Bryce (Lori), Teresa (Kirk), and Victor (Jenny) along with her 14 grandchildren. Julia had a great love for the gospel and a determined faith that she carried throughout her life. Her greatest joy was her family, and friends and wasn’t afraid to show them her love through her service and kind words. She expressed her love by crocheting, knitting, and cross-stitching wonderful gifts for her children, grandchildren, and friends. She was also a very talented seamstress and always encouraged others to develop their talents as well. Julia was recently able to have the privilege of being there for both her grandson and granddaughter’s mission call openings. She spent most of her life dedicated to working on genealogy work, and enjoyed spending her time in nature, bird watching, and camping with her family. Grandma Julie will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful mother who even through hard times had a strong determination to love and care for her family and friends. Her funeral services will held Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 11:00 at the 10351 N. Bayhill Dr. chapel in Cedar Hills, Utah where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
