Julie Oien Christensen's Obituary
Julie Oien Christensen, jente fra Norge, born June 18, 1927, in Orkanger, Norway, passed away on August 14, 2016 with her loving family surrounding her. She was preceded in death by siblings and by her late husband of 62 years, Jewel Christensen, in August of 2012.
She is survived by her family; son, Roy Christensen; son, Gary Christensen (Marcia Wiggins), grandchildren; Troy (Jessica), Cody (Stephanie) and Ryan Christensen; great grandchildren; Isaiah Kuni, Damian, Cody and Dominic Christensen; and many extended family members and friends.
Julie had a love for life! Having migrated from the old country, she was able to visit back many times. Mom and dad had a wonderful life serving many people through their temple mission in Sweden and other church callings. They loved to travel and see the world and especially to go to their cabin in Idaho.
A private viewing and graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 18. Please check with family for location and times. Bestemor, we love you!
