June Margaret Blais' Obituary
Blais, June Margaret passed away peacefully on the 24th of December 2013 in her 90th year. The younger sister of the late Col. Edmond Blais of Ottawa and the daughter of Brigadier General Edmond Blais of Montreal and Laurette Glenn Paris of New York. June was a graduate of St. Agnes Academic High School in Queen's, NY and Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ. Over a 40 year career she traveled the world as a career travel agent in numerous firms, including her own, in Hartford Connecticut. Though an American citizen June served with the Canadian Army Women's Corps in 1944. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Edmond (Park City), Stephen (Ottawa), Barbara (Ottawa) and Pamela (Toronto) and eight grand nieces and nephews in Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom. Interment at a later date in Hawthorne NY. A special thanks to the many kind caregivers at the Avalon Rehab Center and Bristol Hospice.
