June A. Carlson, 80
June Andrews Carlson, age 80 of Sandy Utah passed away peacefully of natural causes in her home in Sandy.
She was born to the late Vernon Andrews and Emma May Gilbreth in Ozark, AR on June 5th, 1937. She was one of seven children.
June taught and performed Ballroom dance, while pursuing a degree as an English major at BYU in Provo, Utah.
She met and married the late Thomas Stanford Carlson and is survived by 10 children; Stanford Andrews Carlson, Cynthia Andrews Carlson, Barbara Andrews Carlson, Kristen Andrews Carlson, Amanda Andrews Breeze, Emily Carlson Finnegan, Joshua Andrews Carlson, Jeremiah Andrews Carlson, Thomas Andrews Carlson and Eliza Andrews Carlson. June is also survived by 41 Grand, Great and Great Grand Children.
Her passion was people, especially her children and grandchildren. She also had a great love for the Indian culture, attending powwows, poetry readings and holistic medicine.
June will be forever remembered by her family, friends and all of her loved ones.
Her service will be held on Saturday May 19th, 2018 -11am at the LDS Mount Jordan 1st Ward located at 8950 South 400 East, Sandy, UT.
