June Rose Hernandez's Obituary
June Rose Hernandez of West Jordan, UT passed away on September 16, 2020. June was born in Oregon Twp, Wayne Co, PA to James Oscar Day and Dorothy Eleanor Day (Haun) on June 10, 1940. She married Edward Sealie Hernandez in Honesdale, PA on June 11, 1972. She worked for many years as a secretary for an Engineering Firm in Totowa, NJ. June and her husband Edward resided in Denville NJ for 27 years where they raised their two children. June spent her free time encouraging and supporting her children in their many activities. June and her husband retired to Columbia, SC in 2004 until May of 2019 when she moved to Utah to be closer to her daughter where she resided at Sunridge Assisted Living and Memory Care in West Jordan.
June is preceded in death by her parents James Oscar Day and Dorothy Eleanor Day (Haun), Sister Norma Marie Day and Brother John James Day.
June is survived by her loving husband Edward Sealie Hernandez of 48 years, her daughter Jennifer June Jones (Hernandez), son Edward Oscar Hernandez, son-in law Dennis Carl Jones, and her grandson Chase Matthew Jones.
A private viewing for family only will be held at Premier Funeral Services, 67 E, 8000 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84047 on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 followed by a graveside service at 12pm at Herriman City Cemetery located at 12465 Pioneer St. Herriman UT 84096 where friends and family are welcome to gather.
