June Arlene Allen Rose was born in Watertown, New York to Paul D. and Ruth E. Allen. She grew up with four brothers: Paul S. (Susan A), Denny J. (Karen E.), Robert J. and, David J. Her one sister is Jane A. Allen. She met her husband where she grew up while he was on leave at Fort Drum in Watertown. They were married Nov. 17, 1967. They moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where they bought a home and had two beautiful children, a boy by the name of Michael Lawrence Rose (Julia) and a daughter, Marissa Ruth Rose (Kelly). They later adopted their grandson, Kalub Christian Coats. They have five other grandchildren: Jordan Rose, Daynen Rose, Marlenne Smith, Alyssa and Amanda Rose. She was surrounded by loving family, friends and neighbors. June was a very loving, caring, accepting wife, mother, and grandmother. She was the kind of person that bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13). Our faith will keep us strong while she rests in peace.
