Junior Raul Martinez passed away at the age of 68, August 19, 2018 in Ogden, Utah. Born October 29, 1949 in Ogden, Utah to Candelario and Victoria Arreta Martinez. Married the love of his life, Sandra Gurule, in 1968. Junior proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Junior worked at Hill Air Force Base as a Freight Inspector. He was a kind hearted and quiet man.
Junior is survived by his sweetheart, Sandra; children, Damon and Raul (Mia) Martinez; 8 grandchildren, Sara, Daniel, Raul Jr., Luke, Sean, Savannah, Paris, and Desmond; Additional survivors include Esther Martinez, Rosie (Gilbert) Lujan, Simon (Theresa) Martinez, Lupe (Lid) Martinez, Gloria (Ronie) Green, and Patty Martinez. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Paul Martinez.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, August 24, 2018 at Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah.
He was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
