Karen Firkins' Obituary
Karen Ileene Johnson Firkins passed away on February 15, 2011 surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on March 25, 1949 to Floyd Heber Johnson and Ileene Mary Allen Johnson. She is survived by her husband Douglas Clayton Firkins, sisters Shirley Sanderson and Deanna (Thom) Martin, children Anthony (Maryellen) Hilton, Bradley Firkins, Cheryl (Robert) Provard, Spencer (Jill) Firkins, Kari (Dan) Rasmussen, and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the LDS Ward Chapel at 8825 South 1095 West, West Jordan, Utah with a viewing Friday at the church from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. In lieu of flowers, an account has been established in her name at Zions Bank to assist in medical and funeral expenses.
