Karen Manning Langston's Obituary
Mom passed away Friday 17th, She was an amazing lady, as strong as tempered steel, and a Take-No-Prisoners attitude about life. If She made her mind up about a direction, you better not be standing in the way, or in her own words "you'll get your ass run over!" She was always one of my biggest supporters, and a pillar of strength when times were tough. She was the matriarch of our family in every sense of the word. For all of her strength my Mom possessed a softer side not seen by many, a genuine Love for animals and a huge heart for her friends and family, She will be sorely missed by all of us and especially by myself, my Sister and my Aunt, and Niece. She held us together through a lot... My Mom wouldn't really want people to feel a lot of sadness for her passing, and so I share this picture of her, dressed to the nines, drink in hand, and I can still hear her words , "Alright Flash, get your shit together and let's get this show on the road..." -Micheal
The world lost an amazing woman with a passion most could not match. You have taught us to be strong and independent. To fight for everything we have wanted or needed. You have been my friend, teacher and mentor. I will forever look up to you and miss you everyday!
I love you Mom -Teri
