Karen’s mom Joann was my (step) grandma. I only got to meet Karen a couple times but she was gracious enough to invite me into her home for dinner when her sister Evie, who was my (step) mom was in town and to visit their mom Joann. Karen was a very nice person and I’m glad she’s not in pain anymore. Prayers for her family always.

I really got to know Karen when she was a Primary teacher and I was a counselor in the Primary Presidency. I always felt like I had her support. Then she became a Counselor in the Primary Presidency. I could always feel the love she had for the children and the teachers. I still have the salt shakers she gave me for Christmas one year. Then when COVID hit I didn’t get to see her very often. When she came back to church I was so happy and so excited to see her and her family. She has truly touched my heart she will always be in my heart.
