Kari Lynn Kleyh's Obituary
Kari Lynn Kleyh, affectionately known as Kari, passed away on March 16th, 2024, in Orem, Utah. Kari was born on December 13, 1958, to Arilla and Gordon Jackson. She was born in Walnut Creek, California, and was raised in Martinez, California. Kari was a cherished daughter, a loving wife and mother, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and has always enriched the lives of those around her.
Kari attended high school at Alhambra High School and graduated Valedictorian of her class, and was also an accomplished musician in piano. Kari attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. At BYU she attended a study abroad semester, and was on the BYU jazz band as a sax player. She also attended University of Utah in the Pre-Med Pharmacy program. Her passion for this area came from her time as a ICU Unit Coordinator, which she led a fulfilling career in. Kari devoted over 27 years of her life to being a mother to her son, Samuel, with kindness and patience. She leaves behind her son, Samuel Kleyh, and husband, David Kleyh; her sister, Marlene Gonzalez, and her husband, David Gonzale; and many nieces, great nieces, great grand nieces and a great nephew. Kari is predeceased by her parents, Arilla Jackson and Gordon Jackson, and her brother, Richard Jackson.
Funeral service dedication and celebration of life will be a graveside service in Orem Cemetery at 2 PM on Friday, March 22, 2024.
