Karl Bernhard Schirmacher's Obituary
Karl Bernhard Schirmacher died on December 6, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah, just a week shy of his 45th birthday. He was born on December 13, 1977, in Seattle, Washington. He was adopted by Bernard and Marina Schirmacher as an infant and grew up in the Sugarhouse area of Salt Lake City, where he attended Highland High School. He also attended Brigham Young University and served an LDS mission in the Oregon Portland Mission. Karl succumbed to cardiac arrest following many years of struggles with mental health issues and substance use disorders. His family prays he has found peace and that his spirit, now free, can go on to do much good.
