Kathe was the epitome of strength in her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and was always anxious to share it with others. I never heard her complain of her health problems but would instead say something positive about life and its challenges. Her longtime friend Patti Smith was truly a devoted companion and caregiver for many years and reflected nothing but goodness and kindness toward Kathe. May the Lord always bless these two sweet ladies and friends. (Karen Bird)
Whenever I saw her, Kathe was always upbeat, in spite of her trials in the last few years of her life. She was always smiling and cheerful. I only knew her for the last five or so years of her life, and only then as little more than an acquaintance, but I never saw her grumpy or in a bad mood.
