Katrina (Trina) Maree Sherrow- Vea's Obituary
Once upon a time guardian angels knew it was time for a baby to be born on July 11, 1997. The guardian angels delivered a beautiful baby girl whose name became Katrina Maree Sherrow. The most excited for the arrival were Grandpa Jim and Grandma Diane. P.S. Parents were excited as well.
The angels knew Trina would need some ability to live on earth. Trina was given bravery and, at times, fearless (almost too fearless). Her laughter was giant and joyous. When Trina talked to Gavin he would tell her she didn’t need New York to hear. Later she did live in New York.
Now if we were going to discuss Harry Potter/Ravenclaw she did not pass the leviosa spell, however she did pass clutzsiosa (A-). Thus the cool eyebrow.
She loved big and had a special ability to support and care for those with special needs and challenges.
She was “A WONDERFUL MOTHER and partner”. Kaylahni (chatters, in her language), Davina (Chub Chub, is the cuddler), Maliyah (she can grr, Trina taught her). Trina loved Nu and Emily – they were her partners in life. She wanted them to succeed. She will be very missed by the following and many more
• Nu (Husband) and Emily (sister wife), Kaylahni, Davina and Maliyah Vea
• Melanie Aurich Sherrow (Mother)
• Gavin Palmer (Brother) and Ashlyn (Niece)
• Nicholas Sherrow (Brother)
• Jim and Darlene (Diane deceased, grandparents)
• Lori and Ryan Larsen
• Sarah Fox
And to all aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who know and love her.
Life’s challenges certainly shaped and influenced her, but especially brought her to possess a tender love and compassion. August 9, 2024 she was gathered once again and brought back to the Savior’s care in her next existence by wonderful guardian angels such as her grandmother Diane and great grandmother Garnett, whom she loved and adored.
We will have the opportunity to bid our final farewell with a viewing on Saturday, August 24, 2024, 12-2 pm followed by a funeral celebration of her life at 2:30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Fairfield 2nd Ward building located at 845 North 1150 East, Layton, UT 84040. For close family and friends, a lunch will follow.
