John Stevens
In 1955 I was in the mission home with Kay Curtis and we were soon bound for a marvelous, experience. Little did we know how great this mission to Samoa? What is it going to be. There were three of us going to the Samoa to serve elder Curtis elder, John Stevens, and elder Wayne Shute who later became mission president. Elder Curtis was very humble and a great person. I did not get the opportunity to serve with him as companions, but did spend time with him during our mission gatherings. I’m sure there was a wonderful reunion on the other side of the veil with Kay and others who passed on before him. The pictures posted are of him on the ship, and of us who traveled with him. The Samoan the young man is Don Rivers, whose father was the postmaster in Samoa. Manuia le Malaga Alofa tele atu Kay.
