Kegan Louis Tolbert's Obituary
Kegan Louis Tolbert, a husband, father, son, brother, and friend, had an unmatched passion for life. He was born in Delta, Utah on December 21, 1989, to Teri Weimer and Robert Copley. Unexpectedly, Kegan passed away on September 22, 2023, while on a work trip at Lake Powell. A dauntless adventurer, he enjoyed cliff jumping, sky diving, wake surfing, and other thrill-seeking adventures. As the Director of Operations for 7th Street Treatment Center, he was dedicated and enthusiastic about helping others create better lives for themselves. Kegan often put others needs before his own. With a love for life and a contagious laugh, he enjoyed pranking people, joking around, and bringing joy to others. Kegan loved playing softball on a sober league every Friday night with his recovery friends and family. Family and friends were always at the forefront of Kegan’s intentions. Lake Powell was a trip he looked forward to annually. His memory and legacy will live on through all the people he impacted.
Kegan was survived by his wife Angela Brandhagen and his children Matthew, Henry, Jaxx, Louis, and his unborn child. He also leaves behind his mother Teri (Bryan), his fathers Robert (Sam) and Richard; sisters Tracie, Carlee, and Katie; his brothers Derek, Mike, Christian (Kelsey), and Nick; his nephews Gabe Wiley, and Miles Wiley; his grandparents Judy Beals (Kenny), Jeanie Tolbert, James Copley, Ed Newcomb. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Louis Tolbert, Myrna Copley, Lillith Newcomb, Richard and Carol Wiley, cousin JC Redd.
