Keith Calder Salisbury's Obituary
Keith Calder Salisbury passed away peacefully on September 29, 2020. He was born on March 13, 1930 to Lawrence Jay and Lillian Alice Calder Salisbury in Orem, Utah. He married Verlee Nadine Anderson (Penny) on May 17, 1957 and were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 17, 1965. Together they had six children, raising them in Murray, Utah.
Keith graduated from Lincoln High School in Orem in 1948. He later joined the United States Navy and served in the Korean War from 1951-1954 as an Engineman Third Class aboard the USS Munsee. He started working for Cummins Intermountain Diesel in 1954 as a Mechanic. He was there for 42 years retiring in 1996. Keith was a hardworking man and was respected by all.
Keith was a patient, dedicated and loving husband, father and friend and will leave an unfillable void in the lives of many.
Survivors include his wife Verlee; Sons- Michael Keith (Debbie) Salisbury, Neil William (LeeAnn) Salisbury; Daughters- Leslie Ann (Richard) Madsen, Sydnie May (Garth) Harward, Susan Lynn (Bryan) Partridge, Sharon Kay (Nathaniel) Sistrunk.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Catherine, Afton, Francis and Jay. He had 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday October 5, 2020 at the Murray Cemetery located at 5490 South Vine Street Murray, Utah. A private family viewing will be held prior to service at 67 East 8000 South Midvale, Utah from 11:30-12:30 pm.
