Keith B Wilcox's Obituary
Keith B Wilcox of Spring City, UT, born January 26, 1943 passed away on November 18, 2025 in Provo, UT. He was 82 years old. Keith grew up in Heyburn, ID, the fourth of seven children. He lived on a farm where he helped his family grow sugar beets, potatoes, and many other crops. He attended Heyburn Elementary, Heyburn Junior High, and Minico High school. Keith attended Ricks College in Rexburg, ID where he met Diann Rutt who would later become the most important person in his life.
Keith served a 2 ½ year mission in Central America from 1963-1965 where he learned to speak Spanish which he used for the rest of his life helping the Spanish-speaking community. When he returned, he attended BYU and married Diann in the Idaho Falls Temple on June 3, 1966. They have 8 children: Nick (Debbie), Paul (Kenni), LaMonte, Lynette (Jeff), Shawn (Chelle), Cindy (William), Todd (Anna), and Brent (Sarah). The family lived in El Granada, CA for 13 years then moved to Utah. Keith owned and operated the gas and service station in Moroni, UT for 10 years in the 1980’s helping many with their mechanical issues, teaching others how to fix their own cars, and giving his children a place to learn about hard work.
Keith never turned down an opportunity to serve in his church or in his community and worked hard his whole life. He loved gardening, hunting, sports, and playing with children.
He is survived by his wife, Diann, his 8 children and their spouses, Callae, three siblings, Virginia, Kathy, and Ron, as well as 23 grandsons, 23 granddaughters, 22 great-grandchildren with more on the way and hundreds of others that called him Grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, LaVaur and Laura Wilcox, his brothers, Melvin, Steve, and Jerry, and his grandson Tavian.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 22 at 12:00 pm at 7655 East 15000 North Spring City, UT.
