Kelly Jillynn Christensen Johnson's Obituary
On Friday, March 4, 2022, Kelly Johnson (54), a loving mother, daughter, aunt and sister passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Kelly was born November 29, 1967 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jerry and Pattie Christensen. She married her sweetheart, Terry Johnson, on July 12, 1991 in Cottonwood, Utah and together they raised a handsome and talented son, Brandon.
Her joys in life were, nature, animals, horseback riding and all things creative. She was an avid writer and artist with published work. She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, you would catch her in the living room creating something from nothing and making it very special. Kelly loved to teach people to use their mind and expand it. Her other love in life were horses, every Sunday she would go see her horse Butch, and enjoyed riding and feeing him, while still playing with the chickens, pigs and goats. Kelly loved to garden and cook with vegetables she grew. She loved sitting in the garden and just eating tomatoes. Kelly had cats, dogs and rabbits growing up and if an animal needed a home shewould take care of it. What a creative, loving and outspoken woman she was!
Kelly is survived by all who loved her, including: her husband, Terry; son, Brandon and wife Andrea; her mother, Pattie; her three sisters, Toni, Jamie and Cortnie (Dee) and twelve amazing nieces and nephews. She is reunited in heaven with her father Jerry Christensen and sister Wendy Pay, along with her great niece Alaina.
