They made their home in the Ogden area, later moving to Layton. She was employed at Hill Air Force Base as a Document Control Specialist. But her favorite job was being a grandmother. Also surviving are her siblings, Boyd (Gwen) Palmer, Steven (Belinda) Nebeker, Mark Nebeker, and Julie (Alan) Roundy. Friday May 2, 2024, at 6:08, Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Our Mom Kenna Nebeker Johnson passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at her home. This is how she wanted to go. Mom will now get to rejoice in seeing her son Jimmy Johnson , our Dad, her brother Golden Nebeker, her sister Kay, her parents and grandparents and countless siblings and friends.
We want to thank Debbie Johnson Bircumshaw for being her caretaker and best friend. Our sisters Christy Johnson Kilburn, Tammy Robbins and our brother Scott B. Johnson for always providing overwatch for her.
There were many memories talked about that included water fights, all of Mom's stray kids that she took in over the years, how she was a force in life, and larger than life with her kindness and laughter. Mom was always the life of the party and never gave up on anyone.
We will miss you Mom, everyday but are also happy that you are with loved ones that are celebrating this reunion.
We love you Mom
