I met Bo when I joined the military. We were both in some hold over camp before we could go to basic where we had to pass an easy pt test and screening. We ended up in the same basic and AIT camp. After that we both ended up in the same first duty station and even went to Iraq together though we were attached to different units. We got in trouble together as well as out of it together. I also met Chris when she got to Hawaii and got housing. Probably made her life more difficult since she had to take care of us whenever me and Bo caused trouble. Of course if she got angry I’d go back to the barracks or disappear while Bo had to absorb her anger. Once all was good then he’d chew me out for getting him in trouble in the first place. He was definitely a good influence on me but I honestly don’t think I was a very good influence on him since most of the trouble he got into was usually while he was with me. He was a great friend especially considering how even though I never call anyone he’d always call me to shoot the shit or invite me to play Xbox. All in all they were good times. I will definitely miss my best friend and battle buddy. Definitely had more patience for me than he probably should’ve but that’s also what made him a great person and friend. Take care bro, I’ll miss you and see you in the next life.

I had the opportunity to meet Bo and Christina through my son’s gift to donate his organs. It was a privilege to meet Bo and share stories of are pasts. It’s amazing how much alike Bo and DJ are really like. I can only imagine the celebrations and hugs the two of them will have together. Thank you Bo for including us in your journey and sharing with DJ’s son Stetsen what an incredible gift his Dad gave to an incredible person. You will be missed Bo but your journey has just started.

Alex was the brother I always wanted and the best friend I needed. As kids we were like two peas in a pod. My favorite childhood memories all revolve around Alex aka Pee-Wee. From Saturday morning cartoons, riding bikes, cheating in board games to help each other win, or just getting ourselves in trouble. Those are memories I will cherish forever. Alex always wanted to be a hero, and to be he already was one.

I miss you and love you with my whole heart. My favorite Alex. The 1st born, the 1st to say mama, the 1st to have my heart. The 1st to fly from the nest and the 1st to fly home. You were not born to be 2nd. You lived your life in the front. FIRST

You were tired, and you knew you were ready.

There are so many I don’t know where to start. From being kids and you always and I do mean always getting the upper hand. Until you decided to allow me and Rob to duct tape you to the porch. Unable to get free until mom and dad came home. To say you were mad was an understatement. Or when we were stationed together and riding on your vrod. You decided at 90mph it was a good idea to take a hand off the bars. I was ok with one. Then you decided the other needed a break too. Proceeded to reach back and play the bongo drums on my helmet. Nearly pee’d my pants. Favorite memory of all would have to be riding with you through Montana, Idaho, and Washington with the CVMA. Or being there when you got your new heart. I love you Al and miss you more and more every day. I’ll see you soon enough though.

I love you and I'll miss you you've called me Dad I tried to teach you everything I knew about being a man in this world how to treat people and how not to treat people it never dawned on me how much you can teach me how much you taught me I'm so proud of you' I'm so proud of your family I'm so thankful that I know you and that will stay with me always there's no doubt my mind that you're with our father which are in heaven.I know it'll just be a little while.
