Kenneth Britt Eddards' Obituary
Kenneth Britt Eddards passed away in his home February 1, 2019 after a three year battle with metastatic kidney cancer. He was born November 2, 1960 in Ogden UT to Fay “Bud” and Leola Faye Hill Eddards who preceded him in death along with his siblings Leslie, Amy, Eby, Dee-Vaughan and Lila. He is survived by Vince (Joy), Byron (Selby), Joyce (Everett Maxwell) and Lisa Eddards.
He married the love of his life Mary Borgesen November 15, 1980 in Layton UT where they both grew up. They were sealed in the Jordan River Temple November 15, 1991. They have five children and four grandchildren; Tazara, Michael (Tricia, Aaron & Porter), Christopher (Lyndzie, Jaxson & Lola Taft), Kendel and Jordan (Melissa). They moved their young family to West Valley in 1990 and raised them there.
He was a hard worker his entire life. He worked at Dicks Tire & Auto, Conoco, Midas and Senske Services. He loved wrenching and helping anyone that needed it. He really knew how to fix just about everything.
Ken lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face. He was full of jokes and would tell them to anyone that would listen. His care team always looked forward to seeing him because even through all of his treatments and multiple surgeries he was always upbeat. We appreciate everyone that had a hand in his care over the years at both the University of Utah and Huntsman Cancer Institute!
Ken always put family first. He lived to make others happy and feel welcome. Anyone who knew Ken loved him and he will be greatly missed!
A viewing will be held Thursday night (2/7/19) from 6:30-8:30 and Friday (2/8/19) from 9:00-9:45. The funeral will begin at 10am. Both will be inside the Copper Hills Stake Center located at 6710 West 4145 South in West Valley City UT 84128
There is an account in his name at Cyprus Credit Union. The family would appreciate any and all donations!
