Naomi Evans raised Kenneth and his sister to be strong and faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After graduation, Ken was called to serve in the Canadian Mission, serving in Ontario. Upon returning from his mission, he met and married Jacquetta James. On October 14, 1963, a little girl, Denese Evans, was born. Later they divorced.
In the summer of 1971, Ken met Anna Burnham Rawlings at a church dance in Linden, Utah. Both Ken and Anna loved dancing. On October 15, 1971, Ken and Anna were married in the Salt Lake temple. Together they bought a home in Sandy, Utah, that same year. On July 19, 1974, Caprice Naomi Evans was born. Two years later, Ilena May Evans was born on July 6, 1976. Ken, Anna, and family lived in Sandy until November 23, 2004. They built a home in Midvale, where they lived at the time of Kenneth's death.
