Kenneth (Kenny) Francis Maguire's Obituary
Kenneth (Kenny) Francis Maguire, age 85, of Roy, Utah, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025 at Petersen Farms Assisted Living. He was born on August 22, 1939, in Boston, Massachusetts to Elizabeth and Joseph Maguire. He was a beloved Father, Grandfather, and husband. He was married to his wife Linda for 60 years.
Kenneth was born and raised in the West end of Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Parochial school. He left school early as a teenager to help his mother. He worked as a Metal Foundry Laborer for many years.
Kenny enjoyed taking day trips to Kittery Maine and Salisbury Beach to get pizza and play arcade games, go out for lunch, go to the casino, and play cards with friends and family. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He never missed a cookout, party, or holiday. He was known for making dollar bill rings for all the kids. In the last year of his life Kenny and his wife Linda moved to Utah to live with his daughter Kathleen and enjoyed going to the Nature Center with his Granddaughter Brittany.
Kenny had 2 daughters, 3 granddaughters, and 2 grandsons.
There were no strangers, only people Kenny hadn’t yet met. He talked to everyone and made friends everywhere he went. He was very generous and would help anyone out. He would do anything for his family.
Kenny is survived by his wife Linda Maguire, his daughters, Kathleen and her husband Brian Bowden, Erin and her husband Sean Beauregard, and grandchildren Brittany Bowden, Kourtney Bowden, Lucien Beauregard, Abel Beauregard, and Fionnoula Beauregard.
He is predeceased by his parents Elizabeth Thorne, and Joseph Maguire, and his brothers Paul Maguire, and Donald Maguire.
