Kenneth Lawrence Schoenrock's Obituary
Kenneth Lawrence Schoenrock, 64, passed away May 1, 2014 in Provo, Utah. He was born December 30, 1949 to Lawrence Arthur Schoenrock and Mary Bernice Jensen Schoenrock in North Hollywood, Ca. He attended Cohasset Street School, Lakeridge Jr. High School and graduated from Birmingham High School. He attended these schools in Van Nuys California where he grew up with his sister. He attended BYU in Manufacturing Engineering. He served an honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Central States Mission. Ken served six years in the Army National Guard. Ken was a master engineer. He could build or fix anything. He loved working with steel and worked the majority of his career at Valtek in Springville, Utah. He later started his own business, Alloy Machine Shop in Spanish Fork, Utah. He trained his three boys to work and passed on his knowledge to them. He was always a hard worker and never quit until the job was done right. He had a passion for cars and motorcycles. He loved working on them and customizing them. He also helped his son Jared start an off-road company Competition 4x4. Ken enjoyed going to Easter Jeep Safari in Moab each year with his kids. The trip was also good for work and became a yearly tradition. Ken had a funny sense of humor that often came out when you least expected it. Ken is preceded in death by his parents. Ken is survived by his six children; Jared (Alin) Schoenrock, Justin Schoenrock, Ryan (Claire) Schoenrock, Summer Trujillo, Tasia (Tyler) Hutchings, and Jessica (Adam) Christensen, his sister Sally (Gary) Gerbich and 12 beautiful grandchildren.
