Kenny has gone fishin'! What a statement that fit's Kenny well. Kenny was a good friend and co-worker. I was Kenny's work buddy and trainer when he first started with Parker Hannifin in 1990. Kenny was kind and generous and would give you the shirt off of his back if he thought you needed it more than he did. Kenny was also a straight shooter and would tell you like it is. His laugh was infectious and if he laughed everyone around him would laugh.
Kenny's obituary states how he helped save money for Parker because of one of his ideas. This is true. It was also recognized by Parker with a trip to Cleveland for a celebration and presentation of the idea to Pat Parker the founder's son of Parker Hannifin and Duane Collins (CEO in 1994). Dean Lloyd (Parker Retiree) and I were able to go with Kenny and Greg Moody for this celebration.
While we were in Cleveland we were able to go visit Cedar Point, a world famous amusement park and take a boat to Put In Bay where we had a great lunch and got to try on some wigs. It may sound cheesy to some but all of us had a very memorable time.
While Kenny will be missed by many I know it will be a great reunion with those that preceded him in death.
Love and miss you my friend!
