Kent Francis Bolejack's Obituary
Kent Francis Bolejack, passed away at his home, May 9, 2012 after a 14 month battle with cancer. He was born September 6th 1953 in Beatrice, NE. Kent grew up on Falls City, Nebraska; Portland, Oregon and Simi Valley, California. His parents returned to Plattsmouth, Nebraska, where Kent graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1971. He joined the Marine Corps in 1972 and served until 1976, at the rank of Sgt. During the service of his country he had the honor of being presented with the Presidential Service Certificate on September 25, 1974, for honorable service in the White House. He also served at Camp David from October 23, 1974 to December 10, 1975. From September of 1977 to January 1995, Kent was employed with numerous law enforcement agencies in Nebraska. He served as Chief Deputy of Keith County, Nebraska from May 1991 to January 1, 1995. Kent moved to Salt Lake City in 1996. He was employed with C.R. England and Sons from 1996 to 2005 and then with Coyote Express and CR Transport until May of 2011. Kent served as Sergeant of Arms for the “Peacemaker” motorcycle club. He is survived by his significant other, Irene Law, of Sandy, UT; stepson, Danny (Shawna); granddaughter, Hailey Law, all of Ogallala Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Donnabelle Bolejack, of Falls City, Nebraska and sister, Linda Jo Coldwell of St. Joseph, Missouri. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Utah Veterans Cemetery, 17111 Camp Williams Rd. Bluffdale, UT 84065.
