I tried to reconnect with Elder Linton many times but couldn’t find him! Now I find his obituary and I am so sad! He taught me on his mission many years ago. I live retired now in Northern Utah and graduated from BYU, taught at Ricks College after graduating and also in the public schools of Madison District 321. Kent came to see me there after his mission, and sat in my apartment singing a song to me in his guitar. I followed him when he was singing in a barber shop quartet! The Bishop’s son baptised me after many discussions, and I remember a few words of the song he wrote that he sang to me. We went to visit him and Kristine and he announced we were staying for dinner on the spur of the moment! He said it like: My fabulous wife can accommodate you all, I’m sure! They were newly married and no children yet. I am so sad to hear of his passing before we could catch up. It has been MANY years… condolences to his family, especially his sweet wife.
