Kerestin Marie Hansen's Obituary
Kerestin Marie Hansen, born May 26, 1993, passed away April 13, 2022. She was born to Boyd Hansen and Vickie Sachs Hansen; and she was a ray of sunshine to the family from the beginning. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, and granddaughter, she was always creative, funny and sweet.
She spent her childhood in West Jordan, and as a bright, intelligent girl, she excelled in school. She graduated with honors from Valley High in 2011. Things always seemed to come easy to her, and she could do anything she put her mind to. She had a soft heart and a passion for all animals. She was always found bringing home a different animal from cats and dogs to sugar gliders, goats, iguanas, and chameleons. Kerestin shared her love of children and animals with her Mom.
Kerestin was a quiet person but could light a room with her beautiful smile and big, bright eyes. She was always drawn to the moon and loved to sit and stare at it at night. She loved camping and spending time on Flaming Gorge, boating, and racing wave runners. She was an accomplished snow boarder and snow skier and was a great wake boarder as well. She loved the lake and swimming with the kids.
She loved the special bond she had with her daughter Aliza Marie, and cherished being a mother to such a special girl and always called her Baby. They loved each other in the sweetest way. She shared a special connection to her sister Courtney and aways protected her. She had so many happy memories growing up the younger sister to her brother Spencer and sister Tabatha.
