Kerri Lee Iverson's Obituary
Kerri Lee Iverson, age 40, of Hanna, Utah passed away October 26, 2016 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Kerri was born September 8, 1976 in Roosevelt, Utah to Alan and Janice (Kotter) White. She married Travis A. Iverson on July 12, 1996 in the Jordan River Temple. Together they have 4 beautiful children.
Kerri graduated from Altamont High School in 1995 and Provo College in 1996. She was a licensed nail technician. She served and loved her clients in the Uintah Basin for 18 years.
Kerri was raised on a 4th generation cattle ranch. She loved horses and all things cowboy. She participated in horse 4-H from the age of 9 and later served as a horse 4-H leader. She participated in rodeo queening and held several titles in Duchesne County. Most notably she was in the Dinosaur Round-up Rodeo Royalty for 3 years and served as Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Queen in 1995. She loved everything rodeo---particularly watching her children participate in the sport that was so close to her heart.
On October 7, 2015 Kerri was diagnosed with Stage IV, extensive metastatic breast cancer. She was so thankful for the support she received from her husband, family, community, and rodeo “family”. She felt so much strength from her own personal “ARMY”. She was an example of hard work, dedication, and “True Grit”. She showed us all how suffer gracefully and courageously.
Kerri is survived by her husband Travis and children Kaelyn, Kenleigh, Kolton, Kamerie (Hanna, UT); parents Alan & Janice White (Heber City, UT); siblings Wendi White (Castle Rock, CO), Jeffrey (Karalyn) White (Coalville, UT), Dustin (Cassandra) White (Roosevelt, UT), Manda (Luke) Hanzon (Eagle River, AK).
