Kevin Michael Hughes' Obituary
Kevin Michael Hughes, age 69, passed away on September 18, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was the son of James Devon Hughes and Anna LaPreal Taylor, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kathi Ann Hughes Hardt.
Kevin is survived by his brothers, Ronald James Hughes (Tama) and Randy Guy Hughes (Karen), along with extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.
Kevin was fiercely independent and lived life on his own terms. He had a deep love for music, often finding joy and comfort in the songs that shaped his days. He also enjoyed fishing, where he found peace and patience on the water, and he treasured the companionship of his beloved cat, Cuddles.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Bristol Hospice for their care and compassion during Kevin’s final weeks, and to the JCC for the many years of support and kindness shown to him throughout his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the I.J. & Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center (JCC) or the Bristol Foundation in Kevin’s memory.
Kevin will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
