Kevin Edward Race's Obituary
Kevin Edward Race, age 67 of Ogden, passed away peacefully Monday, November 18th, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones. Kevin was diagnosed with metastatic cancer shortly before his passing.
He was born to James Arthur Race Sr. and Marie Agnes Cecilia Race (Zielinski) on April 9th, 1957 in Union City, New Jersey. He was one of 8 of their children.
Kevin leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness. Those who knew him felt his love endlessly. He was the kind of man, who even when he had nothing, would give to those in need.
Kevin lost his first love, Suzanne Race(Collins), in December 2017. He had the opportunity to find love again with Linda Race (Crawford) in 2021. He is survived by his wife, Linda Crawford; his three children: Christopher Race, Tiffany Race, and Melissa Lewis (Bradley); two stepchildren: Jess Crawford and James Crawford; eight grandchildren: Kevin, Kenneth, Kristopher, Aylee, Paxton, Zadey, Laney and Elsie; two step-grandchildren: Anthony and Ryker; one brother, Ronald (RJ) Race, numerous close friends, and numerous relatives. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne Race (Collins); by six of his siblings: Marie, James, Frank, William, Paul, and Cheryl; his parents, Marie and James Race; and all of his grandparents.
Kevin wished to be cremated. We will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. He will be missed by many.
