Kevin Lyle Rouska's Obituary
Kevin Lyle Rouska, 75, of Kearns, Utah, passed away on July 14, 2026.
Born on October 25, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to John Francis and LaVern Lever Rouska. Kevin graduated from Kearns High School. He served 2 years in the U.S Navy during Vietnam aboard the USS Coral Sea. Kevin retired from Qwest after more than 35 years of dedicated service.
Kevin was known for his overwhelming generosity, his love of golf, a unique and contagious laugh, and his willingness to open his home and heart to family and friends. Kevin often travelled to PGA golf courses following a Tour event so he could experience the course for himself. If you brought up golf in a conversation, you were destined to be talking with him for a long while. Kevin had constant companionship with family or friends living in his home. He was happy to help others out in their time of need and enjoyed the company.
Kevin is survived by his sister, LaNelle (Aaron) Grant, and three brothers, John, Darryl, and Monte. Kevin is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, Heather Christensen, Caryn Bird, Eric Rouska, Bryan Rouska, Amanda Slaymaker, Veronica Grgich, and Chris Rouska. He was preceded in death by his parents John and LaVern Rouska and sister-in-law, Moroni Rouska.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on July 27, 2026, at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park near Camp Williams.
